Please note! The Swedish National Agency for Higher Education was closed down on 31 December 2012. Instead two new agencies have been established: the Swedish Council for Higher Education and the Swedish Higher Education Authority. This website will continue to operate as the new agencies will have links to information it contains.

From 1 January 2013, the Swedish National Agency for Higher Education has ceased to exist as a public authority. Its operations has been transferred to two new public authorities: the Swedish Higher Education Authority (Universitetskanslersämbetet) and the Swedish Council for Higher Education (Universitets- och högskolerådet).

Högskoleverket (Swedish National Agency for Higher Education) is located in the centre of Stockholm and is within easy reach of T-Centralen (Stockholm Central Station) where inter-city trains, commuter trains, and airport trains and buses stop. There is also an underground station and various local bus stops at T-Centralen.

The bus that stops closest to the Swedish National Agency for Higher Education is bus 59. The bus stop is called Hötorget. After leaving the bus stop, walk up Apelbergsgatan for about 60 metres. Turn left into Luntmakargatan.

The nearest underground station is also called Hötorget. When leaving the underground station, take the exit, Olof Palmes Gata, and then take the exit, Tunnelgatan. Turn right and walk about 60 metres up Tunnelgatan. Turn right into Luntmakargatan. Walk about 60 metres up the hill.
