BrödtextSince 1992 the council for higher education at the Swedish National Agency for Higher Education has been working with a commission to inculcate environmental perspectives and aspects into the sustainable development of degree courses run by Swedish universities and university colleges. This manual is one of several initiatives aimed at spreading good examples of how sustainable development can be integrated into degree study programmes.
Sustainability here means the harmonisation of social, economic and environmental targets for the purpose of ensuring the well-being of present and future generations and for the ecosystems.
